This report describes in detail the results of a language needs analysis carried out in European SMEs. The aim of the report is to analyse the existing and required language skills in European SMEs in the partner regions.

The results of this survey contributed toward the planning and implementation
of an open and distance learning CD-ROM for the learning of four European
languages (English, French, German and Italian) to be used in a business
context.
